Do I need the app to use Spotter?
No. The app is optional. Follow the provided DVT manual for setup and operation.

Phone Connection
How do I make Spotter available to my phone?
Short-press the range button. Spotter advertises for about 10 seconds and appears as Spotter-XXXX.
Where can I get the app?
Android distribution is available from the Downloads page. For iOS availability, contact support.
Power
Which batteries does Spotter support?
Spotter supports CR123A and 16340 batteries. It does not charge batteries internally.
Which battery does the remote use?
The remote uses a CR1632 battery.
